Consortium Project Manager for $20 million grant from the Department of Labor (DOL) for Advancing Careers and Training (ACT) for Healthcare Trade Adjustment Assistance Community College and Career Training for the 16 Wisconsin technical colleges. • Consortium Project Manager for a $5 million grant from the DOL for Interfacing Manufacturing Processes and Connecting Technologies (IMPACT) for three Wisconsin technical colleges. • Responsible for budget management, including budget revisions, which meet DOL and CVTC procurement and financial process specifications. Ensure all required programmatic and budget reports are submitted on time to DOL.• Develop, maintain and grow strategic private and public partnerships to cultivate strategic alliances and ensure partner retention.• Collaborate with Marketing Manager to generate positive publicity and interest in the project through public relations and marketing campaigns highlighting western Wisconsin’s activities as a best practice for addressing the workforce gap in healthcare education. • Initiate human resource actions to address staff vacancies and performance issues. Complete performance reviews. Communicate performance expectations and provide positive and constructive feedback. • Serve as the primary point of contact for DOL, 16 partner colleges, and other external partners. Provide monthly progress reports to consortium. Meet project objectives by analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions. • Responsible for establishing and engaging the project’s strategic advisory team. • Organize and facilitate meetings, conferences, and communications between partners.• Provide direction to consultants engaged in project development and implementation.• Knowledgeable on federal regulations and compliance requirements relative to federal grants or contracts, preferably with the DOL.
