ABOUT JULIE RAND DORNEY

TEAM: Threat Experts Assessment and Management Members: Julie Rand Dorney, MD; Adriana Flores, PhD; David Halverson, MD; Michael Hilton, MD; Leah Jones, MD; Sanjay Shah, JD, PhD; and Maria Silva, PsyD Backed by over 100 years of combined experience in mental health forensic evaluation and risk assessment for the criminal and civil courts, TEAM members provide corporate consulting for employers by assessing potential threats to the workplace. All TEAM clinicians are members of the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals. Our TEAM clinicians utilize the Workplace Assessment of Violence Risk (WAVR-21) measure and integrate knowledge from extensive psychological and psychiatric experience for corporations to mitigate risks and prevent potential violence. Together with human resources, legal, and security, we work as a team to achieve a comprehensive threat assessment and management plan for a safe working environment. In addition, TEAM provides comprehensive postvention management plans for all employees impacted by trauma, including evidence-based behavioral skills training to strengthen coping skills at work.
