About Julie P.
Hello! My name is Julie Plumleigh. After earning my Master\'s of Accounting from the University of Kansas, I started my career in public accounting at EY in Chicago. I am an assurance associate in the Financial Services Office (FSO), specializing in banking and capital markets. I am also proud to be a part of the EY Business Intelligence Experience (BIE).At KU, I was passionate about creating opportunities for others. I founded the KU Case Competition Club, now an official program in the KU School of Business. Our team hosted the inaugural KU Case Competition in 2023, engaging 250+ students and launching a regional invitational, Best of the Midwest, in 2025.In addition to leadership and event coordination, I served as a Teaching Assistant for ACCT 200: Introduction to Financial Accounting, where I was honored to mentor first-year students and help lead the TA team as Team Coordinator.I’m energized by teamwork, community, and continuous learning—and I’m excited to bring that same spirit into my work at EY and beyond.
