As VP of Claim Product Development & Strategy, Julie Morgan leads the Workers Compensation digital and transformational strategies at Travelers, the largest writer of workers compensation insurance in the United States. She believes that meaningful interactions, transparency around the process and access to information improves engagement and empowers injured employees to take greater control of their own recovery and return to work. This led to her playing an integral part in launching MyTravelers® For Injured Employees, a web-based and mobile-friendly self-service tool that streamlines the workers compensation claim process and engages the injured employee on their recovery journey.In her current role, Julie focuses on the evolving needs of customers and their injured employees, concentrating on the numerous investments to TravComp®, the insurer’s unique workers compensation claim management process, to stay ahead of workforce and societal trends. Today, her attention is on document intelligence, automation focusing on straight through processing using predictive models, Generative AI, and natural language processing.
