   Lead an organization of over 40 personnel located in multiple countries, responsible for import and export compliance and the resolution of complex trade and operations issues for the largest semiconductor equipment manufacturer in the world. Designed and executed Global Trade organizational changes. Significant organizational changes involved the creation of key strategic positions including Digital Trade Compliance Manager, New Markets Trade Compliance Manager and establishing the Classification Center of Excellence team. Establish and implement company-wide import and customs compliance policies, execution, and risk management, for US imports. Oversee Customs, OGA, valuation, classification compliance, ISA trusted trader program and duty mitigation strategy. Produced over 90% YOY duty liability reduction generating over $100M in duty savings. Establish and implement company-wide export compliance policies, execution, and risk management, for US exports. Oversee EAR, OFAC, and ITAR compliance. Partnered with Government, Public Affairs and key business stakeholders to develop and execute a highly effective US export license strategy which resulted in over 100 approved licenses enabling over $500M in sales over a four-year period. YOY increase of 113% in approved licenses. Steered the US Trade Compliance team in the successful implementation of the most significant changes in US Export Control regulations ensuring immediate compliance and minimum disruption to Applied Materials ability to serve its customers.
