Senior Program Manager, Health Equity Strategies @American Hospital Association

This role covers a set of diverse and timely priorities for hospitals and health systems that span: health equity, diversity and inclusion, community partnerships, and the innovative use of health care and non-health care data to improve the health of populations and communities. Responsibilities: Provides day-to-day oversight of all aspects of the health equity grant project funded under Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. Provides and ensures effective communication with all stakeholders, including status reporting, risk management, issue resolution among all internal and external stakeholders, including coordination with other AHA components, subcontractors and consultants, and other participating organizations. Ensures successful implementation of regional health equity innovation summits across all nine regions; including coordination with member hospital host sites, speakers and sponsors for the summits, as well as the deliverables (Solutions Briefs) from each convening. Implement the strategic plan for the Health Equity Influencers Network/Roundtable. Ensure all work is undertaken in compliance with grant and AHA policies. In concert with finance, supports the creation and updating of annual program budgets, reviews monthly financial and labor reports, and ensures that the program’s spending is aligned with available resources. Cultivates and manages relationships with project team members and funding organization; Interfaces and communicates with member relations, external partners, and project participants to ensure those project goals are achieved.
