About Julie Harrigan

Dr. Harrigan has over 13 years of experience in Hospital Medicine, Healthcare Informatics, Physician Leadership and Corporate Operations. As an actively practicing provider and healthcare administrator, she specializes in dynamic collaboration between hospital and clinical leadership, physician organizations and medical staffs. She oversees and advises on effective and efficient implementation and continuous improvement of the electronic heath record, and brings expertise in the optimization of provider workflows, quality initiatives and regulatory content build in multihospital and clinic settings, by providing an evidence based clinical approach to healthcare informatics and in-depth knowledge of the EHR build. In addition to many years of Healthcare Informatics leadership, she is board-certified as a Family Medicine Hospitalist and is a longstanding Hospice and Palliative Care provider. Having graduated from the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara in Mexico, her first residency was in general medicine and surgery in Mexico, with a second residency in Family Medicine at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences system.
