ABOUT JULIE DAVIGNON

As a Tax Partner in the Calgary office of Stikeman Elliott, my practice involves providing advice to Canadian and international clients on tax matters relating to merger and acquisition transactions, corporate reorganizations, equity investments and financings, with a particular emphasis on the energy sector. In addition, I assist clients with internal tax matters, as well as assess the impact of current tax developments. I am also committed to giving back to our community. I am a director of the CUPS Society, which helps vulnerable individuals and families in Calgary. I have served as chair of the Canadian Petroleum Society, and am currently on the editorial board to the Resource Sector Taxation journal. I am also a frequent speaker and writer on tax topics and a member of the Canadian Petroleum Tax Society, the International Fiscal Association.
