About Julie Biernacki

I am currently serving as a Project Manager at Catalyst Fire, where I work with clients on major IT projects. I made my start in consulting as a Project Manager/Business Analyst at Achurch Consulting, where my role revolves around AMS implementations, technology and AMS selections, and Client Success services. Over the course of my tenure, I successfully executed multiple Association Management System (AMS) implementations, including Impexium, Association Anywhere, Netforum Enterprise, and various Salesforce-based systems. Prior to my current position, I held the position of Senior Business Analyst at AIAA for over five years. During this time, I spearheaded project management for IT business application projects, conducting comprehensive meetings with staff to meticulously document business requirements. I managed new projects throughout their development lifecycle, taking charge of testing, quality assurance, and full documentation. Beyond my formal role, I leveraged my problem-solving skills to address challenges and provide innovative solutions for our business stakeholders. Before AIAA, I contributed as a Business Applications Analyst at ASIS International Inc, the premier organization for security professionals worldwide. In this capacity, I led project meetings and conducted User Acceptance (UA) testing for cross-functional teams. As a business analyst, I played a pivotal role in gathering business requirements, developing project plans, and ensuring consistent communication and collaboration. My commitment to continuous improvement was evident as I worked diligently to see projects through from inception to completion. I hold a Bachelor\'s in Business Administration in Computer Information Systems (CIS) from James Madison University. The CIS program at JMU, ranked 10th nationally in Bloomberg Businessweek and 2nd on the College Factual website, equipped me with a strong foundation in the development and management of information systems within a business environment.
