I work in the Whitty Lab in the Boston University Department of Chemistry. My project involves the investigation of the structure and energetics of Kelch-like ECH-associated protein 1 (Keap1) through determination of the effects of mutations on its stability and affinity for its binding partner, Nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor. My work will support the larger project of understanding and improving our previously designed macrocyclic peptide inhibitors for Keap1.
