About Julia Vanderput

Music culture taught me everything I know about branding. The best artists create worlds for people to belong to. Beloved brands do the same. I’ve developed some of the world’s most loved brands from Pepsi and Harley-Davidson to Armani, American Express, Intel, Bacardi, and Mizuno. My work has earned Effies, Reggies, Webbies, Ex Awards, and Clios, including a gold Effie for most Effective Brand in North America. Today, I turn brands into music brands at Live Nation, the largest entertainment company in the world.Alongside my branding work, I’m committed to supporting vulnerable individuals during life’s toughest transitions. I’ve served on the executive board of a domestic violence shelter, provided doula services for foster youth, accompanied SA survivors through the reporting process, and worked as a family liaison for Child Protective Services. Currently, I volunteer with Zendo Project, providing care for festival-goers facing challenging psychedelic experiences. My creative journey began early. At 14, I received the International Library of Poetry’s Outstanding Achievement in Poetry award. Since then, I’ve written for Subculture, Mother Tongue and Feministing, published a poetry and photography chapbook (To Walk Through Oneself) with Pocket Press, exhibited my photography at Alpha’A, and played drums for Husband Stitch. Today, I channel my energy into @bi_dinner, building spaces where the bi community can truly belong.
