ABOUT JULIA PRAGER-HESSEL
I am currently the Deputy Communications Director for my own representative, Congressman Tom Suozzi. I also cover a legislative portfolio that includes technology, telecommunications, transportation, AI, and Eastern Europe. Previously, I worked as his Legislative Correspondent, and as his Scheduler and Deputy Finance Director during his frontline special election race. Before working for Rep. Suozzi, I completed a Fulbright ETA grant placed in the Chotěboř, a village in the Czech Republic, and earned my Master\'s of Science Degree in Political Theory from the London School of Economics and Political Science. I am also a graduate of Tulane University, where I triple-majored in History, Philosophy, and English, and double-minored in Religious Studies and Political Science. From these experiences I\'ve developed skills in communications, operations, fundraising, academic research and writing, and policy. I\'m passionate about public diplomacy, teaching, and good libraries.
