About Julian Vitenson

Hi! I\'m Julian Vitenson, and I’m currently a Junior at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, majoring in Business Administration and Computer Science with a minor in Entrepreneurship through the Shuford Program. I’m also an Honors Carolina student and was selected as one of 18 trainees (from 180 + applicants) in the Scale & Coin Spring 2025 class, where I was later elected Community Service Chair.As I navigate through my college experience, I am soaking up everything I possibly can. While I don\'t necessarily know WHAT I want to do yet, I do know HOW I want to conduct myself in both my work and life. With a passion for constantly learning, doing, and most importantly, failing. To me, failing is a benchmark of improvement. If you constantly succeed, you haven\'t pushed yourself hard enough.I embody this mindset in everything I do. Whether it\'s skating off a stairset nobody in their right mind would jump down, tackling a new coding project, or solving a problem in a business, I always accept a challenge. I cycle through failing and learning until I\'m finally capable of doing. That feeling of accomplishment after completing something you previously thought impossible nourishes my soul. My inspiration mainly comes from the years I’ve spent helping run my family’s company, Sundance Pet Grooming. Since high school, I’ve rotated through almost every role. Coordinating staff schedules for two salons and three mobile vans, juggling payroll, designing our retail space, creating marketing materials, and redesigning our Shopify site from scratch. I launched Google ad campaigns that lifted new-client bookings by more than twenty percent, integrated and trained employees on RingCentral to ensure every call is answered, and set up GA4 so we can see which channels drive real revenue. Wearing those hats taught me how to turn fuzzy goals into working systems and how to keep learning on the fly. Skills I’m ready to bring to my next challenge.The largest coding project I have built solo is the Muriphys Study Builder, roughly lines of JavaScript, Liquid, HTML/CSS, and a small Node function that runs on Netlify.
