About Julian Soh

I work with organizations to help transform their business through the adoption of emerging technologies on Microsoft and/or Open Source platforms, specifically around Applied AI, Generative AI, Big Data, IoT, software/solution development, and Advanced Analytics. Currently, I am assigned to work with Independent Software vendors (ISVs) in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) vertical. Helping modernize and integrate AI / Generative AI in software used by engineers and project managers. In 2022, I started on an exciting journey to include Space and Satellite providers as part of my portfolio. I get to work with our Space partners to bring earth observation as a service to their private and government customers. My career at Microsoft spanned across many products and services, covering technologies that used to be on-premises (e.g. Windows Server and Tools, Office, SharePoint), Microsoft\'s first public cloud (Office 365 SaaS), Microsoft Azure as IaaS/PaaS, and currently the Data, A.I. and Cognitive Services capabilities in Azure. Because Microsoft\'s Machine Learning and Cognitive Services were part of my coverage portfolo, I was fortunate to have been exposed to A.I. years before OpenAI unveiled GPT and Generative A.I. to the world.Most recently, with the excitement and rapid development in the multi-modal generative AI space, I have been working with organizations to develop custom AI copilots for their SaaS offerings.
