Digital Oilfield Solutions is a very successful consultancy partnership operating out of the UK and the USA. It has several IOC and NOC clients and has a growing network of associate companies. It is currently providing digital oilfield consultancy services to companies in the USA and the Middle East. Digital Oilfield Solutions is a member company of Energistics and offers specialist training services on their behalf through a training partnership with Geologix Ltd. I have authored many SPE papers on real-time drilling and production systems and specifically on the WITSML drilling data standard. In 2012 I will be chairing industry conferences on digital oilfield infrastructure and digital oilfield workflow transformation. I am also a member of the digital energy sub-committee at ATCE 2012 in San Antonio (October 2012), where I will be co-chairing panel discussions on digital oilfield.
