ABOUT JULIANNA BARBARA

Recent graduate from the International Culinary Center in New York City, where I received my pin and certification as a Certified Sommelier by the Court of Master Sommeliers. Hospitality as well as the Food and Beverage industry are a newfound love and passion of mine. Creating a positive experience for guests is key to building relationships with current as well as future clients. I would like to use my past experiences with Communications and Sales in order to further my career in this industry. A graduate of the University of Rhode Island. As a full-time student that has graduated as a Communications major at URI, I have enhanced my knowledge and capabilities within understanding and applying aspects of connection and interaction between persons. I have sought out multiple opportunities to further strengthen and widen my skills, including traveling across the world and adapting to cultures in order to expand my personal intellect along with gaining education along the way. I spent time abroad in both Austria and Amsterdam where I worked with other students and faculty approaching aspects of society and expression. Taking classes with students and professors from all over the world deepened my cultural experience, adaptability and allowed me to develop crucial skills necessary in the communications field. I believe my education throughout college paired with my work experiences has given me valuable skills that I will take with me throughout any future careers.
