When I got a virus on my computer in 6th grade, I didn’t know it would spark a lifelong interest in cybersecurity. That moment pushed me to understand how systems break and, more importantly, how to secure them.I’m currently studying Engineering Technology with a concentration in Computer Network System Management at San José State University. Alongside my coursework, I’ve built hands-on experience through school labs, my personal home projects, and tools like Wireshark, Linux, and Cisco Packet Tracer. I also created my own website to apply what I’ve learned in a real-world setting.I currently work as a Technology & Operations Intern at Levy Restaurants (Levi’s Stadium), where I support event operations by troubleshooting POS systems, handheld devices, and network issues during large-scale events. Additionally, I serve as a Product Guide at Arc’teryx, where I combine my technical communication skills with a passion for outdoor performance gear and customer experience.I’ve earned the Cisco Certified Support Technician (CCST) Networking certification and completed IBM’s SkillsBuild Cybersecurity program. These experiences have strengthened my knowledge of network infrastructure, troubleshooting, and system security.What drives me is the potential of technology to improve lives. I’m especially passionate about protecting personal data, strengthening privacy, and building systems that are secure and reliable. My goal is to become a Cloud Security Engineer or SOC Analyst. Eventually, I hope to explore ways to blend technology with environmental impact.Outside of tech, I volunteer with the Olivia Chan Foundation and enjoy giving back to causes that matter.Feel free to reach to out to me!
