ABOUT JULIANE WORKLEY

As a Senior Director of Development with extensive experience in the hospitality industry, I have a proven track record in business development and project management, specializing in New Builds, Mixed-Use Developments, Renovations, Construction, and Architectural Design. Currently serving as a Project Director at Vocon\'s Cleveland office, I lead project management and construction administration efforts, while also mentoring emerging design professionals. My passion lies in the integration of innovative design with technical execution, and I work across diverse project types, including hospitality, retail, restaurant, multi-family, and corporate headquarters. Previously, I spent 13 years at Concord Hospitality as an Owner Design and Construction Project Manager, overseeing projects worth $1.2 billion. My expertise spans the entire development process, including pre-development due diligence, authoring consultant RFPs, collaborating with major hotel brands, and managing project budgets. I have a strong background in supervising design and construction documentation, conducting quality assurance reviews, soliciting contractor bids, negotiating contracts, coordinating milestone construction schedules, and ensuring project timelines and quality. I also produce detailed construction reports for stakeholders, manage FFE and OSE purchasing, and coordinate with hotel operations teams for smooth project handovers. Before transitioning into project management, I worked as a Project Architect for six years, focusing on hospitality design, construction documentation, and specification development.
