ABOUT JULIAN DENCH

What got us here, won’t necessarily get us there.”Life constantly changes. And, with it, we must change too. But, all too often, we stand still and react to change rather than moving forward to actively shape it. I help senior leaders and businesses in financial services navigate change and complexity - whether driven by regulation, broader business transformation, AI or something else - in a way that strengthens them for the future. Regulation as a Catalyst for Stronger Businesses: use regulation and regulatory change to create embedded, strategic advantage for your business, rather than it being a siloed tick-box exercise Leadership in a Changing World: help senior commercial leaders to grasp regulatory change and use it to create value for their customers, the business and their teams; help these senior leaders equip themselves to be impactful, future-fit leaders who have people and doing things better at the heart of what they do. Strategic Advisory for Long-Term Impact: improving technical or second line teams ability to be strategic business partners, focusing on the core human qualities needed to land their impact more clearly and add more business value through their work. With over 20 years of experience in domestic and global financial services dealing with complex regulatory and people change, I’ve led and advised on cultural, organisational and regulatory change at global insurers, as well at major clients in consumer finance and investment management, focusing particularly in governance change and/or trouble shooting during time of regulatory sanction. As an Executive Coach, I trained at world-renowned Henley Business School, UK, where the coaching programme is triple accredited (ICF, EMCC, AC). I am a Senior Practitioner at EMCC level and a member of all three coaching federations (ICF, EMCC and AC). This, coupled with a Masters Degree in Cultural Politics, gives me the ability to offer unique insights and perspectives on navigating cultural or organisational problems, or just on getting the best, most motivated performance from yourself or your teams. Send me a message if you’d like to discuss how I can help.
