ABOUT JULIAN DECICCI
As a graduating senior and an aspiring Financial Planner, I strive to create experiences for myself that will prepare me for a successful future. Personally, my three passions are food, fitness, and music. I love to cook, I go to the gym regularly, and I play the double bass in Drexel University Symphony Orchestra. My professional experience includes co-ops in compliance at FS Investments and operations on the trading floor at Susquehanna International Group. Through these experiences I learned skills like Excel VBA, and the broad application of generative AI. Additionally, I developed habits such as keeping up with the markets and macroeconomic trends via the Wall Street Journal and other news sources. I\'m good at collaborating and communicating with others, but most importantly I\'m good at sales and relationship management. I learned those last two skills from my five years in the food service industry. I spent this time serving and supervising weddings, and also serving and food running in restaurants. Working in the food service industry allowed me to help people and give them a great experience. Doing this made me happy and my work felt fulfilling. I want to translate that feeling to working in finance. I like personal finance, and I love interacting with people. For that reason, wealth management is the field for me.
