ABOUT JULIAN CREEL

Data and Analytics professional located in Dallas, TX with 8+ years experience across the Sports & Entertainment and CPG industries along with an educational background in Economics (B.A, UT Austin) and Business Analytics (M.S, SMU Cox). Currently serving as Director, Data & Analytics at goodwipes.My previous positions were with the Business Intelligence team at Nutrabolt, a high-growth CPG company operating in various categories, and in the Business Intelligence department at the Dallas Stars Hockey Club.Prior, I studied Business Analytics at Southern Methodist University through the Cox School of Business. There, I was immersed in the spaces of data analytics and business intelligence covering topics such as data mining & machine learning, data visualization (Tableau), decision science, revenue management & pricing optimization, database design (RDBMS, Data Warehousing), big data (Hadoop, Hive, Spark), and programming for analytics (R, Python).Preceding that, I studied Economics at the University of Texas at Austin where I received the distinction of Special Departmental Honors for outstanding academic performance in Economics and the completion of an independent research Honor\'s Thesis under the supervision of esteemed faculty.
