About Juliana Maia
Life is like rowing on the Guanabara Bay, you set a direction, put your boat on the water and go for it. It doesn’t matter if the whole city is still asleep, or if it is dark, cold and raining outside - you go for it! On the way you may discover that the water can be dirtier than you expected it to be, the people on the boat may have no idea where they are going and maybe you didn’t have all the skills you may need to accomplish what you desire. If your goal is important enough, you will find a way to make everybody row on the same direction, you will develop all the skills you need on your way and nothing will be big enough to stop you. At the end, you learn three big lessons. First, always look to your right and even in the middle of the craziest storm the Christ is always there on the top of the Corcovado blessing you with his open arms. Second, look to your left and you will realize that the sunrise behind the sugar loaf can be the most extraordinary spectacle that you will ever see, and like many extraordinary things in life, it has always been there, for free, waiting for those who are willing to wake up early to admire it. Third, and most important of all, if you look around yourself, you will realize that what made this whole journey worth it was more than the goal itself, but all these crazy people you met on this boat, all the times you laughed and cried together, but never forgot to keep rowing.I am Juliana Maia and I am passionate about helping people and organizations find solutions to the most complex challenges and uncertainness they face. Setting strategic and challenging goals and empowering people to accomplish them. I believe in the power of hard work, integrity, education and true connection with people.
