About Juliana Hung

At Northwestern, I am a senior majoring in digital communications, minoring in creative writing, and earning a certificate in integrated marketing. I am interested in the intersection between storytelling and data, specifically in how both can resonate with consumers throughout their customer journey. After graduation, I hope to work with consumer-facing brands or marketing agencies that value their people as much as their products or services.As a former Division I student-athlete on Northwestern’s Women’s Fencing Team, I have developed skills in work ethic and time management. Winning medals and championships is rewarding, but improving the culture is equally valuable. I was the foil representative for the team\'s Leadership Council and the fencing representative for the university\'s Stronger Together advisory council, where I advocated for the people and the program.Beyond academics and athletics, some of my previous marketing experiences include being a campus launcher for DoorDash or a brand ambassador for Pela Case. I continue to stay involved with the campus community, such as by publishing poems and creating social media content for literary magazines. I also manage my personal YouTube, Instagram, and Substack accounts, where I improve my video editing, digital design, and creative writing skills.
