ABOUT JULIANA MESA
I am a third-year public relations student at the University of Florida and am pursuing a certificate in sports management. I am very interested in sports communication and brand storytelling, and hope to build a career in sports PR, ideally in the fast-paced (and loud) environment of Formula 1. Throughout my classes at UF, I have gained experience with place-based branding, native advertising and content marketing, and countless assignments that have improved my skills as a storyteller and strategic communicator. Outside of the classroom, I have worked in customer-focused and administrative roles and as the Ritual and History Director for my sorority. Both my leadership and professional roles required strong problem-solving, multitasking, collaboration and communication skills, allowing me to grow professionally and personally.
