About Juliana M.

I am a hardworking and driven junior in college, boasting a thorough understanding of multiple media-related fields that I\'m enthusiastic to continue learning more about. I plan on pursuing professions related to my education in media production specifically, while also taking on freelance assignments to utilize other skillsets if the chances arise. I care for advertisement & merchandising due to my past related classes and graphic design internship allowing me to have early experience in that world. Technology and art are two great passions of mine, so I am seeking to combine these concepts for later professional opportunities. I would be a good workplace asset because of my ability to perform all tasks since grade school as quickly as possible, & of the highest quality I am able to provide (I am on NP Dean\'s List twice in a row for Fall 2022 and Spring 2023, & was awarded the highest amount for a \'Edward A. Carroll ‘85 & Gina O’Brien-Carroll ’86 DMJ Scholarship\'). I already enjoy partaking in creative activities using my own electronics in my free time as recreation, so I feel I would have a positive attitude towards my future career due to the similarities. Most notably of my credentials educationally, I\'ve taken College Programming C++, College Cybersecurity, College Python Intro, & two HS Graphic Design classes (one Photoshop & one for \'Digital Design & Drawing\' mainly on Illustrator). I chose each of these courses for myself before switching to the DMJ major in an effort to better comprehend a myriad of software-related subjects that were afforded to me at the time as courses. I\'d go on to be school tech assistant & be awarded a \'tech scholarship\' check before graduating, and continue to research compsci after enrolling in Marist. I later would get my General Studies out of the way for a more reasonable price at DCC pre-COVID. Aside from educational feats, I used to intern at \'TC Graphics\', & enjoyed my hands-on experience as opposed to lectures/only using computers with no other machinery. I\'m now enrolled in New Paltz\' Fall 2023 semester for the \'Digital Media Production\'(DMJ) degree path. I will prioritize the diversifying of my abilities regarding any behind-the-scenes roles that could be assigned to me. I wish to maximize my knowledge in order to be as desirable as possible for any and all producers seeking reliable, valuable multitasking professionals. I will use my recently gained proficiencies & desire to improve them to assist me.
