As part of Varian’s Embolics Manufacturing team, I help produce microsphere technologies used in targeted cancer treatment. I work in a cleanroom environment to ensure every batch meets strict quality, safety, and performance standards that support life-saving medical procedures.Key Responsibilities & Highlights: • Contribute to the manufacturing and development of advanced microsphere products within a regulated production environment. • Serve as the cell lead, coordinating daily operations, supporting team members, and maintaining an efficient and compliant workflow. • Operate and monitor production equipment including autoclaves and particle size measurement instruments, ensuring batch consistency and reliability. • Utilize calibrated instruments for pH and osmolality data collection, ensuring accurate process data and compliance with established specifications. • Maintain detailed batch documentation and full adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety protocols. • Collaborate closely with Quality Control, Engineering, R&D, and Supply Chain teams to troubleshoot issues and implement process improvements. • Assist with training and onboarding new operators, reinforcing best practices, safety standards, and process consistency.This role has strengthened my leadership, technical, and problem-solving skills, and given me the opportunity to contribute directly to technologies that make a lasting impact on patient care.
