ABOUT JULIAN HENWOOD
I’m a Birmingham-based (but often to be found overseas) lawyer with over 30 years\' experience in project managing significant cross-border corporate transactions for a largely European-headquartered client base - including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and asset purchases and disposals. On 1 May 2018, I moved into a new role in our firm as Head of European Business Development. This role builds upon my existing roles as chair of Gowling WLG\'s Baltic States, Malta, Netherlands, Nordic and Switzerland desks – as well as being a member of our Belgium and Luxembourg teams. I travel frequently within Northern and Western Europe to visit clients and contacts in their home countries. I play an active role in the activities of the European business community in the UK. I participate, for example, in meetings of the Danish-UK Association, the Finnish-British Chamber of Commerce and the Swedish Chamber of Commerce for the United Kingdom.
