Senior lead counsel managing a team of two lawyers advising the Schroders Solutions business (including Schroder Pension Management Limited) on its segregated institutional & fiduciary management and OCIO mandates investing in liability, duration and cashflow driven securities, and risk managed investments worldwide. As part of this, advising on the integration of (recently acquired) River & Mercantile’s fiduciary business into Schroders.Previously responsible for advising, including as manager of a team of 2 experienced lawyers, EMEA Product & Distribution on all legal and regulatory matters relating to the firm\'s UK and EU retail and institutional funds. Advising on and liaising with relevant regulators (notably the FCA, CSSF, Bank of Ireland, SFC and MAS) on all aspects of the regulated product lifecycle. Advising on the implementation of AIFMD, UCITS V, FATCA & CRS, PRIIPs I & II, Solvency II, benchmark rules, UK Assessment of Value and Consumer Duty, and supporting other teams advising on SFDR, EMIR and LIBOR reform. Negotiating all material investment management, custody, administration and transfer agency contracts. In 2018, worked for 6 months as acting head of legal for Schroders Luxembourg before a permanent local candidate could be hired. In 2014, advised on the integration of the Cazenove and Schroders fund ranges.
