Consult with multi-national companies, being the main point of contact, on all data protection-related matters such as Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA), data breaches, data subject requests, data protection contracts, managing clients processing operations and ROPA, mapping international transfers and support with implementing projects from different departments (HR, marketing, IT, etc) and everyday queries.2. Build strong data protection frameworks (privacy by design and default) for clients from all industries and support in implementing them to achieve business structures that comply with different data protection laws (mainly GDPR and UK GDPR but experience in other laws such as CCPA or PIPL) and handle all data protection matter with the respective data protection authorities in EU and UK (e.g. ICO, CNIL, AEPD, etc).3. Draft and negotiate Data Processing Agreements, Standard Contractual Clauses, and other relevant documents such as policies and guidelines (data breaches, data deletion, etc), DPIA’s and Transfer Impact assessments (TIA’s)4. Entrusted with project management for key clients within three months of joining the company; secured new projects via client recommendations, driving a significant increase in client retainers.5. Forge and foster strong client relationships that promote satisfaction and trust; communicate proactively with clients to identify and resolve concerns. Facilitate in-depth legal training for clients’ different departments; answer questions and explain complex legal concepts in easy-to-understand terms. Coach and mentor junior team members with a focus on continuous improvement and professional development; cultivate a positive and productive workplace culture.
