ABOUT JULIAN CENZI

At FIFCO USA, I was responsible for managing all aspects of the function including, planning, performing, managing, and reporting all internal audits to our holding company, their board of directors, and audit committee. As a newly formed department, I had the responsibility for compliance/auditing/consulting for the US operation which includes Labatt USA and Genesee Brewing (formerly North American Breweries). The main compliance goal was to develop a GRC framework to be utilized by management to develop certain strategies with the outcome of making sound business decisions in a quick and informative manner to become more agile.At Carestream Health the main focus was the execution of the annual audit plan to evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of the company’s internal controls, including SOX 404 testing. Carestream is a world leader in the medical and digital film and equipment market with manufacturing and operations in over 100 countries. As part of the Global Audit & Advisory group, I was responsible for internal audits, process consultations, and special investigations around the globe working in many different countries and with many different people. I have been exposed to the ins and outs of foreign business, manufacturing, sales operations, business development, as I traveled abroad 50% of the year performing my responsibilities to get a firsthand look at the business.With over nine years’ experience in the audit, assurance, and accounting industries, I have been exposed to a broad array of business problems and experiences that have developed my analytical and critical thinking ability, communication, project management and leadership skills.
