I am an Electronic Engineer specialized in development of power converter systems. Currently I´m working in Nordex as R&D Engineer (Power converters design, troubleshooting, direct relations with manufacturers). My most relevant achievements in power electronics during my career are the following: • Development of the power converter controllers for a full converter wind turbine. • Development of enhanced controls for better integration in weak/distorted grids. • Voltage dips quick detection algorithms for several purposes. • Solution design for Spanish grid code fulfillment during dips in old wind turbines with no converter. • I participated in implementation of the grid code verification procedure with the Spanish wind association AEE. • Control tuning in full converter wind turbines for grid code fulfilment in several countries (Germany, UK, Spain, Finland and China). • Control tuning of a PV converter for grid code fulfilment in several countries. • Modeling of a STATCOM, a high power DVR, PV converters and full converter wind turbines.
