ABOUT JULIA MURRAY
From a young age, I\'ve been drawn to caregiving, initially nurturing dolls and animals before finding my place in the medical field. While my childhood aspirations leaned towards oceanography or zoology, fate led me to a pivotal role at 17 in a long-term care facility. It was there that I observed nurses closely, learning not just what to do but also what not to do, shaping my commitment to exceptional patient care.My journey in nursing has been one of constant growth and discovery, devoid of a predefined path but rich with valuable experiences. Each encounter has contributed to my skills, from assuming leadership roles in the ICU to honing my expertise in informatics, leveraging data for transformative change.My time as Director of Virtual Care at Compassus has deepened my expertise in informatics, allowing me to spearhead initiatives that optimize electronic medical records and streamline care coordination efforts across multiple service lines within an integrated care network. Looking ahead, I\'m driven by a newfound clarity of purpose: to continue my journey as a nurse informaticist. It\'s a role where my passion for patient care converges with my natural talent for technology and innovation.
