Hi! I am a junior at the University of Illinois Chicago majoring in Accounting, with a professional interest in tax and its impact on both individuals and businesses. I am working toward a career in public accounting and plan to earn my CPA, with a long-term goal of building expertise in tax strategy and advisory work.What interests me most about tax is how it is always changing. I enjoy learning, adapting, and staying updated in a field where laws, rules, and real-world applications are constantly evolving. I am excited to build hands-on experience and grow under professionals in the field during my time at Old Republic.As a first-generation college student, I have developed discipline, clarity, and a strong sense of responsibility. Over time, I have strengthened my confidence in professional environments, improved my communication skills, and learned how to carry myself with purpose. My experience in customer-facing and fast-paced roles has shaped the way I approach work: with consistency, curiosity, and a willingness to take on responsibility.Outside of academics and career development, I enjoy baking, especially when I can test new recipes and improve them over time.
