ABOUT JULIA LONGTIN
I am a Free Software developer with decades of leadership experience in the Free Software community. I am committed to Free Software, and have a long track record of contributions, from the Linux kernel to 3D design tools to web based applications such as CiviCRM and OpenEMR. I can program in most programming languages, but have a heavy preferance to work in Haskell and C codebases. I am experienced at using a half dozen automation infrastructures, and can automate ANY task. and am smart enough not to automate when it\'s not helpful.I work well with people at all levels of technical expertise, from Linus to grandmothers who\'ve never worked with a computer before. For a significant portion of my career I have held multiple system administration and programming jobs simultaneously, until I changed regions, and founded a 3D printing startup. My work at TuringLace led me to invent a process for 3D printing aluminum. Since that time, I have been focusing on large enterprise automation (Governments and Fortune 500s), and in creating the next generation of Haskell based 3D printing technologies.
