Communications Specialist @Center For Advanced Studies In Child Welfare Cascw
Established in 1992, the Center for Advanced Studies in Child Welfare (CASCW), is a research and training center located in the School of Social Work at the University of Minnesota. CASCW\'s mission is to improve the well-being of children and families at risk of becoming, or who are already involved in, the child welfare system. We do this by educating university students, training human service professionals from multiple areas of expertise, fostering collaboration across systems and disciplines, informing policymakers and the public, and expanding the child welfare knowledge base through research and evaluation. As the Communications Specialist, I lead the planning and execution of CASCW\'s communications efforts, and am dedicated to translating research to practice for the child welfare audiences we serve.
