Julia has over 20 years of financial and business experience, having spent most of that time in public practice providing advisory and assurance services to a wide range of public companies, privately-held businesses, public sector organizations and not-for-profit organizations. Her goal is to help stakeholders navigate through the complexities of financial matters in a strategic and practical way.In the Supreme Court of British Columbia, she qualified as an expert in accounting, forensic accounting and business valuations. Her expertise has been used to resolve countless business disputes. In particular, she has offered dispute advisory services in the areas of accounting standards and practices, damage quantification, divorce proceedings, financial modelling, forensic accounting, expropriations, personal injury, shareholder disputes and more.Julia is a Chartered Professional Accountant, Chartered Accountant, and a Chartered Business Valuator. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Entrepreneurship from the University of Victoria. Passionate about supporting women\'s empowerment, Julia has actively contributed to various women\'s organizations throughout her personal and professional life. She recently retired from her role on the Board of Directors of West Coast LEAF, a prominent organization dedicated to using the law as a strategic tool to advocate for gender equality and justice. In her current endeavours, Julia focuses on advising women-owned small and medium-sized businesses on value creation and realization.
