ABOUT JULIA HONDAL
I\'m a junior at UVM majoring in political science and economics with a focus on international politics and economic policy. I am a Resident Advisor for the University of Vermont for the 20••••26 academic year. I am a new member of UVM\'s Economic Honor Society, Omicron Delta Epsilon. I am an active member of the Girl Gains Lifting Club, Student Alumni Association, UVM\'s Model United Nations Club, and the UVM Powerlifting Team.I\'ve previously worked with the Burlington School Board as a student commissioner in high school during the discovery of PCBs at the old high school and was actively a part of discussions around the new high school\'s construction. I\'ve also worked as a Policy Intern with Run On Climate, focused on local climate policy in Burlington, working with City Council members. I was also an Orientation Leader for UVM in August of 2024 and worked to welcome new students to the university.
