   On the Calendar team, I am responsible for maintaining service quality and innovating new calendar scenarios. A core objective of our team is to identify existing features that can be improved, and do the necessary backend work to improve the experience. As an example, I am leading a team of engineers through a multi-year re-architecture of shared calendars. With our work, you can now view your shared calendar on any application, changes are propagated instantly to users, and you can manage shared calendars in any Outlook client.In addition, I work closely with customers & our support teams to identify and resolve top pain points. Some examples of these improvements & new features include:* Allowing attendees on an Outlook meeting to see whether other attendees have accepted or declined the invite, information previously only available to the meeting organizer.* Option for the organizer to block forwarding of meeting invites, which is useful for private or closed meetings. This has been a long-time request since 2003.* Smart logic to determine whether attendees need to re-respond to the meeting, or whether the change should just be reflected automatically in the calendar* Ability for meeting organizers to cancel or edit a recurring series starting from a given date, without losing the history of when the past occurrences happened* New cmdlets for IT admins, such as the ability to automatically cancel meetings organized by user who is leaving the company, or to grant delegate permissions.
