ABOUT JULIA A. BENBENEK
As a JD/LLM candidate in international and comparative law at Duke, I am passionate about the global intersection of national security, business, and human rights. Both a native Polish and proficient Spanish speaker, I have deep regional interests in Eastern Europe and Latin America. I received my Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from the Georgetown Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service. After law school, I will be joining Hogan Lovells\' international arbitration and litigation team in Miami, Florida for a year before clerking for a federal district court judge in the Southern District of Florida and subsequently a federal appellate judge on the Eleventh Circuit.
