I am a Social Justice Advocate for diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging, Domestic Violence Victim Rights, contested divorce, treatment-model criminal system, national healthcare system, disability rights, community police accountability, discrimination, employee rights, immigrant rights. I provide services in public relations, and visual communication. I also provide musical performances. I was included in the 2023 University of Minnesota Alumni Association Oral History Project.I began advocating for domestic violence victims in 2022, to help them become thriving survivors. I am the co-founder (2021) and former board member (20••••23) of Washington Equity Now Alliance (WENA), a statewide Pro-Equity, Anti-Racist non-profit organization. WENA advocates for Public Education, Social Welfare, And Common Good For The People Of Washington State By Supporting Affirmative Equity Policies.I was part of the WENA legal team that provided input on the Washington, Attorney General Ferguson’s amicus brief on a case to be heard by the Supreme Court of the United States in 2022. In the Students for Fair Admissions (SFFA) v. Harvard and SFFA v. University of North Carolina, I supported asking the Court to uphold over 40 years of precedent allowing colleges and universities to consider race as one of many factors in admissions.I was the co-producer of WENA - Equity On Trial video presentation initially produced for Washington (WA) State Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Conference. The presentation provided our expert analysis on how the high court’s ruling would impact WA DEI policies, but provide a roadmap for state and local government officials to continue advancing DEI initiatives while complying with the new (2022) federal laws.My advocacy includes communication with White House staff of President Obama. I have advocated to presidential candidate, Julian Castro, members of Congress, Senate, The Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, WA Governor Inslee, WA Attorney General Ferguson, WA legislators, county and city officials on various issues. I was a public servant in various government departments, such as agriculture, education, community human services, and employment security. I have worked in corporate America from print and television networks to legal business development. I incorporate this knowledge into my social advocacy work. I began my social justice advocacy work as a young adult in Canada. My lived experience gives me an international perspective. Please reach out for collaboration.
