Coordinate and deliver technical assistance to local health departments, including those in Ending the HIV Epidemic (EHE) jurisdictions, on a variety of topics including HIV prevention, testing, and care; systems coordination; community engagement; workforce development; financing and administration of Ryan White programs; rapid HIV treatment; PrEP; health equity; status neutral programming; and syndemics- Facilitate peer learning and mentorship for local health department HIV, STI, and harm reduction staff through numerous workgroups, communities of practice, and virtual engagement platforms such as the Rapid Start Jurisdictional Learning Community, an intensive project supporting 10 Ryan White jurisdictions to implement rapid linkage to HIV treatment as a jurisdiction-wide standard of care- Co-chair of the Ryan White Part A Community of Practice, a network of health department staff administering Ryan White HIV/AIDS programs to share lessons learned and connect with federal partners to highlight policy and implementation needs- Analyze and disseminate research on health department engagement in PrEP for HIV prevention, advocating for financing and systems change to improve PrEP access through a National PrEP Program- Investigate and share best practices about innovative practices for HIV prevention and treatment access- Advocate for health department priorities in policy and federal programs, representing NACCHO at a national level in policy forums- Leverage community, national, and federal partnerships to support syndemic approaches to HIV, STI, viral hepatitis, harm reduction, and social determinants of health at the local level
