ABOUT JULIA ZAHREDDINE

I’m an organizational consultant with eight years of experience in international social justice. At Aropa, I lead research, advocacy, sectoral learning, fundraising, MEAL, equity audits, and training for CBOs, INGOs, UN agencies, government donors, philanthropic actors, academia, and decolonial, community-led movements. With expertise in community leadership and participation, I’ve facilitated high-level, practical workshops and co-authored articles, policy notes, and reports on effective localization pathways. I currently serve as a learning partner to RRLI, the largest funding intermediary led by people with lived experience of forced displacement. My work focuses on bottom-up accountability mechanisms, high-impact funding, equitable partnerships, and institutional transformation. I’m passionate about helping values-aligned clients manage data, document and strengthen their impact, and communicate effectively with donors—while staying true to their mission. Previously, I led advocacy and equity work at Cohere and Urban Refugees, and worked with Oxfam on tax justice and the extractive industries. Binational (Lebanese and French), queer, and shaped by migrant experience, I bring a nuanced understanding of feminism, mental health, and individual freedom.
