We\'re the provider for on-site cardiovascular testing for student athletes between the ages of 12-25. Our comprehensive diagnostic testing includes an EKG, Echocardiogram and a Vascular Ultrasound to determine if there are any abnormalities that are commonly found in athletes and that can lead to Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA); detecting Myocarditis, HCM (Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy) Blood Clots, DVTs (Deep Vein Thrombosis) and PEs (Pulmonary Embolisms) just to name a few. These tests are at no out-of-pocket cost to the student or the school for hosting the screening. All tests are non-invasive, and the privacy of the student is always maintained. Sudden Cardiac Arrest is the leading cause of death to athletes on school campuses. According to the American Heart Association, in the United States a young athlete dies every three days from a cardiac episode. These same students had all passed their physicals and had been cleared for athletics. In 80% of these cases, there were no warning signs or symptoms leading up to the cardiac arrest. Our goal is to help save as many students as possible. It\'s our hope that we will work together with High Schools, Colleges and Universities across the country to ensure that all athletes participate safely in their athletic programs.
