About Julia Thomson
Having recently graduated from UC Berkeley in May 2025 with a degree in Economics, I’m excited to be returning to AlphaSights as a full-time Associate in the New York office. At AlphaSights, I’ll be diving into expert knowledge-sharing at scale, connecting clients with the insights they need to make high-stakes decisions. I’m especially interested in helping clients tackle complex problems through human insight, curiosity, and clear communication.Throughout college, I’ve been drawn to roles that prioritize people. As Panhellenic Vice President of Membership, I helped lead and support a community of over 1,500 women, facilitating recruitment, fostering inclusion, and building strong relationships. Outside of the classroom, I worked as a cashier and barista at Café Strada, where I learned firsthand how to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment at the heart of campus life.Whether I’m coordinating recruitment efforts, assisting customers during a rush, or connecting clients with expert knowledge, I’m at my best when I’m building relationships and making people feel understood.I love watching the sunset, going on long walks through the park with a coffee in hand, and a good book.
