ABOUT JULIA TERLINCHAMP
Results-oriented and strategic leader with extensive experience in accomplishing equitable outcomes in economic and community development. Committed to data integrity and transparency in the development and implementation of programs, while cultivating a positive and collaborative work environment. Skilled in planning, organizing and implementing policies and programs that focus on and support economic development on local and statewide levels. During the COVID pandemic, I focused on economic relief and recovery for small businesses and non-profits across all 39 Washington state counties. This included understanding the legalities, limitations and economic impact of statewide public health orders on employers and employees, even after they were lifted. Coordinated with a range of stakeholders across all industries, as well political and community leaders, to ensure their feedback and concerns were always taken into account. Currently focused on the food system, food security and global competitiveness as agriculture is a top economic driver for Washington state. I am most excited about the numerous opportunities available to our stakeholders following the passage of the state’s Climate Commitment Act as well as the federal IRA, IIJA and CHIPS Act. In my free time, you can almost always find me hiking the Cascades, playing cribbage or enjoying plant-based ice cream.
