About Julia Rubbo
As a recent graduate of the University of Rhode Island\'s College of Business, with over three years of industry experience, I am excited about my future opportunities. I am honored to be one of the twenty-five URI College of Business ambassadors selected from thousands of students to represent the College of Business. My involvement in URI\'s community doesn\'t cease at academics, with my membership of the highly-regarded professional business fraternity, Delta Sigma Pi, in which I have served as Chancellor of the Phi Chi chapter. In addition to my professional involvement, I also served as President of the URI Women\'s Club Soccer team my junior year. Although these out-of-class experiences have shaped me, I find that my minor in Spanish has impacted me most; it has cultivated my sense of global awareness and enhanced my ability to communicate interculturally, invaluable skills in the world today.
