About Julia Quam
Hi, I am Julia Quam, currently a senior at NDSU majoring in Management with an emphasis in Human Resources! I worked as a teller in the banking industry for most of my time in college. During this job, I was able to focus on my customer service skills and being able to adapt to what customer was presented, either internally or externally. Following this, I accepted an internship at Border States where I became a Learning and Development HR intern to learn the ins and outs of the focus on professional development within a company. I am now an intern for the Talent Acquistion team where I focus on recruiting, onboarding, and sourcing candidates to best meet the needs of the team. Throughout my college years, I have been an active participant in the Human Resource Association Club at NDSU. Last year I was elected the President of this club where our focus now is on gaining enrollments and educating students on what HR entails. Throughout my experience these past three years of college, I have been able to adapt to the different behavioral styles of individuals while doing my absolute best to meet the needs of each person I come in contact with. I am looking forward to my next adventure following graduation.
