ABOUT JULIA MARTURANO

I\'ve built my career around one focus: helping people and systems adapt to a changing climate. I spent over four years in local government advancing extreme heat resilience efforts for the City of Phoenix and Miami-Dade County. These experiences gave me a front-row seat to the human and operational challenges of climate change, where I learned to translate complex environmental data into actionable strategies—and, most importantly, how to measure and communicate real-world impact. Now, as a Customer Success Manager at Planet, I’m scaling that impact. I partner with organizations to leverage space-based insights, using daily satellite imagery to monitor, understand, and respond to environmental change at scale. With a foundation in Meteorology-Climatology, Geographic Information Science, and Public Health, I bridge the gap between Earth observation data and real-world application—helping teams turn insight into action.
