About Julia Kereyeva

Hi, I’m Julia Kereyeva, a double major in Economics and Political Science at the University of Florida’s Honors Program, with a certification in International Relations. I am aiming to graduate in 2026 with the goal of pursuing a J.D in the near future. I have complemented my academic work with global experience through a study abroad program focused on international and global studies in London, where I’m currently interning with an offshore law firm focused on Jersey Law in the economic and business sector. My previous roles include legal internships where I developed skills in client communication, document preparation, and social media strategy. As a trilingual first-generation student involved in pre-law and economic spheres, my focuses are strong analytical skills, cultural fluency, and a global perspective.

   As a social services intern, I was placed under a county government branch that focuses on homelessness prevention through permanent/supportive housing and rapid re-housing programs. Shadowed case managers in both office and field settings, gaining firsthand insight into public service operations. Assisted with high-volume applications, including intake, logging and filing, during a critical program opening serving approximately 800 applicants. Developed an understanding of case management systems, confidentiality requirements and policy compliance.
