ABOUT JULIA JAKUBIK
I build community impact programs at the intersection of purpose, partnerships, and people.I currently work in Community Impact and Communications at a regional credit union, where my role spans philanthropy and nonprofit partnerships, community events and sponsorship activations, communications, and employee engagement. My work focuses on helping the organization show up meaningfully in the communities it serves while aligning internal teams and culture behind that work.I manage relationships with nonprofit partners focused on financial wellness, stabilization, and access to opportunity, translating community needs into sponsorships, volunteer initiatives, and giving strategies that create shared value. I also lead project management for large scale community events, overseeing planning, logistics, vendor coordination, executive participation, and on site brand presence.Communications is a key part of my role. I have managed social media strategy and content, supported email marketing and campaign communications, written copy for both internal and external audiences, and partnered cross functionally to ensure clear, consistent messaging.Employee engagement is central to how I approach community impact. I coordinate employee volunteerism and brand ambassador programs across multiple regions, connecting hundreds of employees to community opportunities and helping build a culture rooted in purpose and participation.I am motivated by work that is relational, collaborative, and grounded in real community needs, and I am especially interested in community reinvestment and purpose driven work within financial institutions.
